JOB TITLE:
Quality Specialist
Your Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Quality Management Specialist to continuously develop, implement and maintain an expert Quality Management System. Your role is crucial in ensuring compliance with internal and external standards and supporting the achievement of sales and profit target.
Your Responsibilities:
- Maintain BRC V9.0 accreditation.
- Continuous review & improvement of the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with BRC V9.0 accreditation.
- Plan & implement improvements within the required timescales.
- Act as the main contact for authorities, auditors & customer enquiries.
- Prepare and conduct audits, follow up on measures and maintain supplier approvals.
- Co-ordinate and provide documentation for customer approvals.
- Maintain an internal audit schedule and conduct internal audits.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
- Minimum 5 years' experience of BRCGS, quality management systems, food safety processes and suppliers.
- Hands on experience of online specifications and approval portals.
- Proven experience in HACCP implementation and food safety regulations, (qualified to level 3 or above preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data and identify trends.
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high-quality standards.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
